To achieve heating or power generation using regional geothermal energy, deep geothermal extraction technologies typically require a high quantity of heat capture. Moreover, it is necessary to adhere to the principles of "same-layer recharging completely" or "extracting heat without water losing" to promote the sustainable development of deep geothermal energy.
Currently, continuous technical breakthroughs are achieved domestically and internationally, resulting in the formation of technologies such as :double-well (or group wells) circulation heat extraction, mid and deep coaxial casing buried pipe heat exchange, closed-loop heat extraction of single well, gravity heat pipe circulation heat extraction, closed-loop heat extraction of U-shaped well, and multi-branch radial well circulation heat extraction. These technologies provide significant support for the effective heat exchange and extraction development of deep geothermal energy.
